From install to storefront

Four steps: install the app, design your banner, enable the Theme App Embed, confirm it on the live storefront.

Install Open GDPR Cookie Banner from the Shopify App Store (or your install link) and approve access for your shop. You’ll land in the embedded admin on the Design experience.
Design Set title and description, Accept / Reject labels, colours, layout, policy URL, and languages. Use Live Preview — the real banner is copy plus actions (no shield icon). Publish / save when it looks right.
Enable App Embed In Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. Open App embeds, enable GDPR Cookie Banner, then Save. The embed is what delivers the banner to the storefront.
Verify on the storefront Open your storefront (a private/incognito window helps). Confirm the banner shows with Accept and Reject. Use Cookie settings / reopen if you enabled them. Adjust copy in the app and re-check.
